Whole Day English
12月23日（土）、1年生希望者51名によるWhole Day Englishが行われました。３つのアクティビティに、福山大学に通う留学生６名が参加してくださり、All Englishでアクティビティを楽しみました。
与えられた英語のヒントから写真スポットを探す「Finding Spots」アクティビティでは、各グループ６～７人組と１名の留学生で、協力しながら校内を散策し、写真スポットを探し回りました。「Cooking」では、スポンジケーキや生クリーム、フルーツなどを使って、オリジナルクリスマスケーキを作りました。留学生と一緒に楽しそうにケーキを作り上げていく様子が非常に印象的でした。「Craft」ではみんなでクリスマスツリーに飾るオーナメントを折り紙や手芸用モール、リボンなどを使いながら作成しました。最後には作ったオーナメントをクリスマスツリーに飾りつけ、集合写真を撮りました。留学生やネイティブの先生たち、学年の仲間と「英語」を使ってコミュニケーションをとることに挑戦できた1日でした！

Eishin held its annual 1st grade ‘A Whole Day of English and students voluntarily participated in the event.
Students separated into two smaller groups before moving off to complete different activities throughout the morning.
In the activity “Finding spots”, students strolled in the school with a group of 6 to 7 students and an exchange student. In “Cooking” session, students made their own Christmas cakes with whipped cream and other delicious treats and fruits. It was very impressive to make a cake happily with exchange students. In “Craft” session, everyone created ornaments to decorate the Christmas tree using origami, handicraft pipe cleaners, ribbons, etc. In the end, we decorated the ornaments to the Christmas tree and took a photo.
